How does this thing calculate horsepower and torque readings? Assuming it is using some formula based on certain sensor inputs. What is considered high EGT on that sensor?īased on that sensor what is recommended temperature for turbo cool down shutoff? I dont have the EGT probe (may add later) so using the EGT 1 sensor (closest to turbo). Have a few questions for anyone that knows about these. Thanks Kevpoppapump, fast shipping and was as he said it was. I also made sure mine had the Cummins Unlock so when i do delete I already have that ability.ĮDIT: i did have a small line go through the screen because of a failure, called Edge up, sent it back and replaced it with a brand new one no questions asked. so there is many things i really like about my CTS II and definitely suggest it. I watch for active regens and make sure to drive until they are complete. I also like having for which gear i am in and when the torque converter is locked up. Even though these trucks have the ability to display the trans temp, oil, coolant etc it nice to have it on the monitor. Its nice when a Check Engine Light comes on you can instantly check to see what the issue is and delete if necessary. I had a fan clutch go bad and monitored fan speeds to help diagnose that was truly the problem. I have learned and diagnosed many things on the truck because of the monitor. probably one of my favorite upgrades to the truck. I have an Edge CTS II monitor on a completely stock 2014.
